Agency Hires Promotes One, Hires Three Employees
GLASTONBURY, CONN./January 26, 2007 – Cronin and Company, Inc., a full-service marketing communications agency based in Glastonbury, Conn., has promoted one and hired three new staff members.
Tracy Klimkoski of New Britain, Conn., has been promoted to Senior Media Planner/Buyer. In addition to traditional media planning and buying, she is responsible for all of the agency’s online advertising placements, generating highly measurable and incredibly successful campaigns for clients, including Amica Insurance, Konica-Minolta, Middlesex Hospital and Northeast Utilities. A member of the Cronin team since 2003, Klimkoski played a major role in developing Cronin’s online media planning and buying capabilities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut.
Jodi Ciarleglio of Glastonbury, Conn., the agency’s new Traffic Manager, serves as a liaison among departments, maintaining the flow of projects. Her experience includes eight years as Production Coordinator at Carlson Communications in Northborough, Mass. During her time with Carlson, the company was awarded numerous regional and national marketing accolades in the building industry. Prior to Carlson, Ciarleglio served two years with International Figure Skating magazine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in managerial communications from Curry College.
Nick Koutsopoulos of Manchester, Conn., is Cronin and Company’s new Assistant Media Planner/Buyer, handling clients such as Amica, Bernie’s, Liberty Bank, Middlesex Hospital, Northeast Utilities and Yankee Gas. Koutsopoulos’ responsibilities include billing, media ordering, research, planning, and buying television, print, online, radio and outdoor media. Specializing in marketing and television, his experience includes marketing, events and sales work at Fox 61 WTIC-TV, where he helped to raise program ratings through memorable campaigns, including one focused on The Simpson’s “Kent Brachman” character. Koutsopoulos graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a major in communications and is a member of the American Marketing Association and the Ad Club of Connecticut.
Laura Melenkivitz of Springfield, Mass., joins Cronin as a Media Planner/Buyer. Melenkivitz negotiates, purchases and manages media plans for clients such as Amica Insurance. She comes to the agency from The Momentum Group, where she planned and negotiated media action plans for Hyde Tools and St. Germain Investment Management. She also has worked for Olender Media/Market Masters Legal as a media buyer. Melenkivitz holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing, with a minor in communications, from Bryant College.
