Kim’s been with Cronin for over 15 years, and has been chief steward of Cronin’s exceptional client service. She oversees all of the agency’s strategic and brand planning initiatives, and her style is rooted in her understanding that great strategy needs to accomplish two things – inspire brilliant communications and get results. Over the years, she’s created strategies to launch new brands and helped re-define existing brands to be more competitive. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Kim serves on the Board of Directors for the UConn Foundation, and in 2009, was named a “Remarkable Woman In Business” by the Hartford Business Journal.
Steve has been creating compelling and memorable advertising for over 30 years for national brands such as Amica Insurance, Benihana, Konica Minolta and Tractor Supply Company. Along with Cronin co-owner Kim Manning, Steve has led Cronin to unprecedented growth, as well as to its seventh straight year as Connecticut’s Top Ad Agency. Steve has made numerous appearances on ESPN, giving his expert commentary on Super Bowl ads. He’s also a frequent guest on NBC-TV and other Connecticut media speaking about all things advertising. He attended the University of Connecticut, where he hosted the worst show in radio history, “Wake Up with Wolfie.”
A client-side marketing leader with substantial corporate marketing experience, Mark brings a fresh perspective to the agency. Prior experience includes agency marketing development, strategy consulting, and overseeing growth at a global research company. He leads new client development for Cronin and oversees its finance and administrative functions. Mark excels in changing industry environments where scenario planning is critical. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania, he has Board and CMO experience, private equity and finance background, and corporate governance background.
Since joining Cronin & Company in January 2007, Gary has brought a well-rounded perspective to our strategic media planning approach. He has been on all sides of the table — as planner/buyer, seller and client — and his diverse experience with international packaged goods, electronics and financial services industries has given him exposure to all forms of traditional and online media.
Wayne has had two stints here at Cronin culminating in 15 years experience at the agency. He has helped create memorable and effective print, web and TV advertising for the CT Lottery, Northeast Utilities, Twinings Tea, Garelick Milk and Tuscan Dairy. Wayne has also designed award-winning logos for Konica Minolta, the CT Lottery, Centerplate and The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center. Some of his better known work has been cited by The Advertising Club of Boston (Hatch Awards), The Connecticut Art Directors Club, Print Magazine, Communication Arts Magazine and Adweek. Throughout her career in agency public relations, AnnMarie has created and implemented innovative communications campaigns for a wide variety of clients on the national, regional and local level. She has built a PR team with a proven track record of generating results for our consumer products, public affairs, health care, B2B and cause-related accounts.
Lester uses the skills he honed in feature films with Warner Bros. and Miramax to help create TV spots with production values well beyond their budgets. His skill, creativity and tenacity are legend in the production community.
As a 25 year marketing and advertising veteran, Frank has served in roles ranging from corporate marketing to boutique agencies to Madison Avenue. His experience includes both consumer and business-to-business marketing across a variety of industries and promotion channels, with a deep focus on direct channels incorporating targeting, analytics, and optimization. Frank’s efforts at Cronin as team leader and client collaborator have helped expand the boundaries of strategy and execution, while fostering relationships and growing client business.
Frank’s work has earned the American Marketing Association’s Gold and Silver Effie, as well as the Direct Marketing Association’s Bronze Echo. He holds a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Providence College, and an MBA in strategic marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
In his 20 years of sales and marketing leadership, Eric has shared that time equally on the client side and agency side. At Newell Brands, he helped create breakthrough sponsorship and experiential strategies to drive growth for Sharpie, Rubbermaid, IRWIN Tools, LENOX, and other fine brands. He then leveraged that versatility in the world of sports and entertainment by amplifying the efforts of companies such as Verizon, UPS, Farmers Insurance, Subway Restaurants, and Mazda.
