When we were creating a film to promote the Jimmy Fund and its fundraising mission to fight cancer, we discovered an amazing true story: the steelworkers who were building a new hospital wing had formed an incredible, wordless bond with the young cancer patients they could see through windows across the street. We brought that emotion to life in this Cannes short-listed spot.
